About the Job
Schylling is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Operations Coordinator to support our Specialty Sales team. This role plays an important part in ensuring orders move efficiently through the sales system while supporting reporting, rep communications, trade show preparation, and operational coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, Excel reporting, and technology systems while supporting a fast-paced sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with weekly rep update communications.
- Maintain rep contact records and communication lists.
- Prepare PowerPoint materials for sales updates and meetings.
- Prepare sales metrics and reporting
- Analyze data to help identify trends, inconsistencies, or opportunities
- Verify trade show order lists to ensure all items are entered and accounted for working with internal teams to resolve any identified issues.
- Provide backup support for system-related tasks including B2B requests, MarketTime orders, and sales inbox monitoring.
- Coordinate buying group promotions and programs.
- Allocate product for buying group catalog selections.
- Manage showroom samples and maintain current product displays.
- Coordinate showroom product presentation for seasonal markets and trade shows.
- Proofread the Summer Supplement and Annual Catalog.
- Assist with catalog production and distribution tasks, including sending seasonal price lists, spec sheets, digital catalogs, and promotions.
- Distribute monthly discontinued item lists to rep principals.
- Assist customers and reps with locating high-resolution product images and coordinating image requests through the Image Bank.
- Research social media, retail websites, and industry sources to monitor trends and competitor activity.
- Track customer feedback regarding Schylling, NeeDoh, and competitor brands.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative, sales support, or customer service roles.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data organization.
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced seasonal sales environment tied to trade shows and market cycles.
- Occasional domestic travel for seasonal shows or trade events.
- Must possess a customer focused mindset and collaborative attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required; BA or BS in business, marketing, or similar field preferred.
- Experience with NetSuite, Datarails, or sales reporting systems preferred.
- Ability to work in our North Andover office, three days per week.
This is a non-exempt salaried role. The base range is $52,000 – $61,000 annually. Offered base compensation within this range will be determined based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, geographic location and other factors relevant to the scope and responsibilities of this role.
